By Dan Ierullo Director of Proposal Development, Precise ParkLink Inc., Matt Black Director of Marketing & Revenue, Hotel X Toronto, David Bibby President & CEO, Hypercharge, Caroline Karvonen Sr Director Sustainability & Stakeholder Relations, BOMA Toronto

For many EV drivers, charging behaviour happens in the places they already spend time. A commuter without home charging tops up at work, a rideshare driver plugs in at a shopping center over lunch, and a family on a road trip wakes up to a full battery after an overnight hotel stay – no extra stops required. The convenience of these charging sites is essential to making EV and PHEV ownership practical for more people. But beyond the perk for drivers, opportunity charging is also an opportunity for property owners. This session explores how businesses can use charging to attract high-value customers, generate recurring revenue, and future-proof their properties. We'll also break down cost-effective deployment strategies so you can maximize ROI when plugging in your parking lot.

Uptime, cost control and achieving business outcomes are essential to commercial fleets, but electric fleets aren't "set it and forget it" systems. Every breakdown — whether it’s a failed charge, driving conditions that leave a truck stranded or an IT team struggling to solve a software glitch after an update – creates ripple effects across the organization. In this session, we’ll go beyond the theory and dig into real-world lessons learned from three very different fleet types: terminal tractors, transit buses and last-mile delivery vans and trucks. Learn what fleet operators, truck dealers and charging suppliers are seeing on the ground and their best practices to minimize disruptions and ensure assets perform as intended – and at the lowest cost.

Delivering on zero-emissions: How shippers, carriers and 3PLs are powering the last mile
By Cindy Bailey Corporate Sustainability Officer, Purolator, Andrew Losier Zero Emissions Project Implementation Manager, IKEA, Gabriela Favaron Director of EV Infrastructure, 7Gen, Ilana Weitzman Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Clean Transportation, Electric Autonomy

That box of diapers or flat-packed shelf might arrive in a retailer’s branded truck, a delivery company’s electric van, or an SUV driven by an independent contractor working through a third-party logistics provider. Each path to your doorstep is different – and so is the road to decarbonizing it. Electrifying the last mile requires more than just swapping out a vehicle. It calls for a coordinated rethink of how goods move, how the vehicles are fueled and how the people moving them are empowered to leave gas behind. In this session, leaders from across the delivery ecosystem share the most effective strategies they’re deploying to accelerate zero-emissions logistics – tackling costs, contracts, infrastructure and the driver experience along the way.
