I have dedicated my life to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector. For nearly two decades, I have worked on clean energy, alternative transportation fuels, and electricity sector issues in government, for-profit, and non-profit roles.
I am currently the Executive Director of CharIN North America. CharIN (The Charging Interface Initiative) is a leading global charging technology association dedicated to accelerating the EV transition through the adoption of universal open and interoperable charging standards. CharIN members comprise leading automotive manufacturers, charging-station companies, component suppliers, energy providers, and grid operators amongst others.
Previously, I was the Director of Global eMobility for the World Resources Institute (WRI) in the Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, the Principal of Transportation Electrification for the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), and an alternative fuels and clean energy consultant with ICF International.
I am a champion for gender equity in the e-mobility and energy sectors and am an active member of the Women of Electric Vehicles, a non-profit for women who work in the EV industry. I author a blog called EV Love (www.electricvehiclelove.com), which provides research-driven e-mobility content for women and was featured in a 2022 book, Women Driven Mobility: Rethinking the Way the World Moves.
My family ‘walks the talk’ by owning two EVs powered by 100% renewable energy, which we manage through a networked Level 2 residential charger.
