Yves Madore is Senior Advisor for Land Fleets at the Government of Canada’s Centre for Greening Government, where he leads national efforts to decarbonize federal vehicle fleets, including those supporting critical safety and security operations. His work is central to advancing the government’s transition to net-zero, climate-resilient, and sustainable operations.
With more than 20 years of experience in low-carbon transportation, Yves specializes in the practical and policy dimensions of fleet decarbonization from strategy and analysis to real-world implementation. He has played a key role in advancing zero-emission vehicle adoption and improving fuel efficiency across the public sector. Prior to joining the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Yves worked at Natural Resources Canada and advised a range of public sector organizations and the private sector on decarbonization strategies.
Yves brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented perspective to the challenges and opportunities of greening large, complex fleets.
