Jean-François Veilleux is the Transportation Electrification Lead at CIMA+ (Energy & Resources sector) with over 15 years at the firm and deep expertise in renewable energy, battery storage, and microgrids. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects across Canada — from master planning and detailed engineering, to the deployment of public fast-charging networks. He has supported fleet electrification for trucks, buses, and cars in both public and private sectors, and contributed to the rollout of numerous Level 3 (DC fast) charging stations nationwide. Under Jean-François’s leadership, CIMA+ is supporting the electrification of Purolator’s delivery fleet across Canada — one of the country’s largest such projects. Named one of Canadian Consulting Engineer’s “Top 10 Under 40” for his industry leadership, Jean-François brings a blend of technical expertise and forward-looking vision to Canada’s evolving EV landscape.
