Jason Libralesso has been in the transportation industry for over 25 years and is currently with Home Hardware Stores Limited where he is the Director, Transportation.  Jason has held progressive leadership positions with Sobeys, T-Force, IKO, Ice River Springs, Labatt Breweries, and JD Smith.   Jason is responsible for inbound domestic and international transportation, fleet safety, maintenance and compliance, and outbound transportation service to over 1000 Home Hardware locations throughout every province and territory across Canada from 3 distributions hubs.  Jason has his degree from Laurentian University and CCLP designation and maintains his commercial drivers license. Jason also serves on the Board of Directors with the Private Motor Truck Council (PMTC) and on the Board of Directors with HR trucking Canada (HRTC).

    Volvo’s Class 8 electric trucks have quietly (very quietly!) passed a major milestone: 10 million zero-tailpipe emission miles in customer operation, hauling everything from soda pop to power tools. In this session, go behind the scenes with two very different fleets that are putting these electric trucks to work. Home Hardware will share how they're using their VNR Electric trucks to move goods from their head office to dealer-owned retail stores and regional distribution centres. And Coke Canada returns to the stage to talk about their battery-electric trucks that have now been delivering to customers for over a year. These are real-world lessons in action: what’s working, what's not (along with the fixes) and what it takes to keep the wheels turning on zero-emissions freight.
