Meena Bibra

Meena is a clean transportation policy expert working on advancing solutions to decarbonize the transportation sector. Before joining Clean Energy Canada, she worked for the International Energy Agency as an energy, technology, and transport analyst, focusing on strategic policy analysis and international stakeholder engagement where she led the coordination of the Electric Vehicle Initiative’s Pilot City Programme and helped author the annual Global Electric Vehicle Outlook. Before this, Meena worked for the Government of Canada at the Department of Natural Resources as a policy analyst working on files including: the Clean Fuel Standard, low-carbon fuels development, and the critical minerals task force. She also worked at Suncor Energy in roles pertaining to logistics, distribution, and technical product marketing. She has a master’s of environmental technology (environmental economics and policy) from Imperial College London and a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and economics from the University of Waterloo.
