Mahdis is a clean transportation leader and Program Manager at Fraser Basin Council, where she oversees the Plug In BC portfolio of EV programs under BC’s CleanBC Go Electric initiative. With six years at FBC and over 20 years of cross-sector experience, she leads a team delivering EV advisory services, charging infrastructure programs, and fleet electrification support across British Columbia — managing a portfolio exceeding $50M in program budgets.
A recognized voice on equity in EV adoption, Mahdis has presented on Diversity and Inclusion at Electric Mobility Canada’s EVVE 2024 conference and was selected as a Women4Climate mentee through C40 Cities in 2022. Her work spans stakeholder engagement with Indigenous leaders, utilities, various levels of government, and community organizations, with a commitment to ensuring clean transportation transitions are accessible and equitable.
Mahdis holds a BA in Political Science from SFU and is completing a Dialogue and Civic Engagement Certificate, bringing a facilitation and policy lens to her work at the intersection of climate action and social equity.
