For over a decade, Lindsay has led Humber’s efforts to embed sustainability into its curriculum, operations, and community engagement. Under her leadership, Humber has earned top national recognition through the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS).
She was named a 2025 AASHE Fellow and a 2024 Clean50 honouree for her leadership in sustainability education and operations. Lindsay contributes nationally through advisory roles with organizations like CICan, AASHE, Evergreen, and the City of Toronto Climate Advisory Group.
With a background in civil engineering and environmental science, Lindsay brings a unique blend of technical and engagement expertise. Before Humber, she taught at Toronto Metropolitan University, supported waste reduction initiatives across the GTA, and worked in environmental site assessments in B.C. Outside of work, she’s often at the hockey rink—watching her kids or learning to play herself.
