Elected in 2025, Dominique O’Rourke is the Member of Parliament for Guelph and proudly represents her community in the House of Commons. As a twice-elected city councillor, entrepreneur and volunteer, Dominique is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people in Guelph.
Dominique currently serves as the Chair of Auto Caucus where she champions Canada’s automotive sector and its transition to electric vehicles. She leads collaboration between industry, municipal leaders, and government, organizes key stakeholder events, and advocates in Parliament for policies that protect auto workers and strengthen competitiveness.
As a member of the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology, Dominique and her colleagues oversee and study areas such as innovation, small business development, and scientific research. For over 25 years, Dominique has called Guelph home. Dominique recognized the monumental time the country was facing both domestically and internationally. In the face of these pressures, Dominique believes Canadians need to come together to build a stronger economy, improve affordability, and create a greener, more prosperous future for everyone.
