Denise Lee is a policy advisor within the clean transportation team, where she works on the development of clean technology supply chains for a more sustainable future. Prior to this role, she was a clean technology consultant at Environmental Resources Management in the U.K., helping governments and the private sector increase decarbonization efforts through the deployment of low-carbon technologies such as electric vehicles, solar, and energy storage systems. She has also worked in public policy at Tesla, in intellectual property at Sustainable Development Technology Canada, and as a researcher studying carbon capture economics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental science from the University of Toronto and was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Under 25 Environmentalists in 2017 and 2020.
