Chris Hill

Supervisor, Fleet Planning, Operations Department, City of Guelph

Chris Hill is a supervisor of fleet planning with the City of Guelph, Ontario.  He leads Guelph’s transition to electric vehicles, with 10% of the fleet now running on full or hybrid electric drive. He writes a regular column on fleet management for Autosphere magazine.  Earlier in his career he was fleet manager at the City of Toronto and the City of Hamilton where he accelerated each city’s green fleet transition. Chris served as CEO of Electric Mobility Canada from 2012 to 2013.

This panel will share how municipalities create a roadmap for fleet decarbonization, taking into account vehicle requirements and facility capacities, and how to get started with what Deloitte consultant and moderator Elizabeth Baker calls “no regret” decisions.
