Roberto is an Electrical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the fields of Design, Project Management and Strategic business development in the spaces of Energy, Mobility, Urban infrastructure and Advanced Manufacturing. Graduated with a MS in Electrical Engineering degree from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Argentina, Roberto moved to Houston, Texas, where he started his career in Design Engineering and Project Management in the Oil and Gas industry. While in the USA, he continued his studies at the University of Houston to further specialize in different areas of industrial systems design. In 1996 he joined the German technological giant Siemens, to initiate a career in International Business Development and Strategy acting on behalf of various
divisions such as Energy, Transportation and Corporate Development.
In 2019 accepted a position as Principal – Global Tarde with Export Development Canada (EDC) in Ottawa. Currently , Roberto is the Country General Manager of
Orange EV, a rapid growing company specialised in the manufacturing of Heavy Duty Electric Vehicles and charging systems.
Father of three and with his family as the center of his life, Roberto is an avid reader of political history and an “audiophile” interested in experimenting with music and sounds of the world. He also enjoys cooking and wine tasting.
