Mike Mulqueen is the Director of Commercial Partnerships at SWTCH, responsible for engaging and aligning with new business partners for mutual success. He has a long history of urban planning, energy management, policy, and program design, both public and private.
Mike started his career at the City of Toronto where he was instrumental in developing and implementing the Toronto Green Standard, Sustainable Energy Strategy and Climate Change Action Plan, as a Senior Environmental Planner. He then moved to Toronto Hydro where as the Business Development Lead he developed and managed energy conservation programs for various customer segments including low-income, multi-family and commercial sectors.
Prior to joining SWTCH, Mike led sales and business development for a cloud-based building automation company providing real-time energy management services, Parity Inc,
Mike received his MA in Urban Planning from McGill University and his BA at McMaster
University.
