Senior Data Scientist, RMI

As a Senior Data Scientist within the Carbon-Free Transportation team, I use big data to project electricity demands spurred by the widespread electrification of transportation. My goal is to help stakeholders such as utility providers and policy makers understand the impacts of electric transportation on our energy systems, facilitating more informed decisions towards a sustainable future. Before my current role, I was an Astronomer and received my Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Washington where I studied galaxy evolution and data science.
