Chief Flett formerly spent 16 years as a high-school teacher and principal in Saint Theresa Point First Nation, and is also a former Band Counsellor. He started many different school initiatives and organized school-band tours to the city of Toronto. He was a key person to bring Youth Build to the community. He led the way to a successful application to NRCan for GCIB for a school solar project, as well as created and led the Saint Theresa Point housing committee. As Chief, Raymond continues to motivate his staff and community in positive ways.
