Daniel Hengeveld

Daniel Hengeveld is the Vice President of Investment Attraction at Toronto Global, the GTA’s economic development agency. With experience across finance, infrastructure, and public policy, Daniel sits at the intersection of economic development and impact. His portfolio includes work with some of North America’s largest technology, manufacturing, and life science companies, as well as major sustainability initiatives. This includes the development of the Province of Ontario’s Green Bond Program, whose proceeds fund environmentally friendly projects across Ontario. As a city-builder, he has also served on a number of boards dedicated to the arts and culture in the City of Toronto and currently sits on the board of Impact Zero, a sustainability- and technology-focused accelerator. Daniel has an MBA from McMaster University, specializing in finance.
